Mandatory SmartLogger for the installation of the HUAWEI LUNA2000-215 kWh Liquid Cooled ESS Solution.

Without the SmartLogger, the system cannot be powered on or commissioned. At least one SmartLogger is required per installation (up to 50 batteries).

What is MBUS and when should you use it? 

MBUS is a communication protocol that operates via power cables—similar to PLC. This eliminates the need for an additional data cable between the inverter and smart logger, making it ideal when cabling is challenging.

• No option to install a data cable? Choose the A03 or B02.
• Able to run a cable? Then the A01EU is the most logical and cost‑effective choice.

Note: MBUS loggers are often slightly more expensive, but they save valuable time in complex installations.
